Making Capital Investment

To get Turkish citizenship, you can choose to make a capital investment in Turkey. You need to make a minimum fixed capital of USD 500 000 or the equivalent of a foreign currency or Turkish Liras.

Steps:

  1. You need to obtain an eligibility certificate by applying to the General Directorate of Incentive Application and Foreign Capital of the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
  2. You need to obtain a Turkish residence permit.
  3. Then you need to apply to the Provincial Directorate of Census and Citizenship.

Limitation:

  • None.

Creating Jobs

To get citizenship in this way you need to create jobs for at least 50 people.

Steps:

  1. You need to obtain an eligibility certificate by applying to the General Directorate of International Labor of the Ministry of Family, Labor, and Social Services.
  2. You need to obtain a Turkish residence permit.
  3. Then you need to apply to the Provincial Directorate of Census and Citizenship.

Limitation:

  • None.

Depositing

In this method, you need to deposit at least USD 500 000 or its equivalent of a foreign currency or Turkish Liras.

Steps:

  1. You need to obtain an eligibility certificate by applying to the Department of Financial Consumer Relations of the Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency
  2. You need to obtain a Turkish residence permit.
  3. Then you need to apply to the Provincial Directorate of Census and Citizenship.

Limitation:

  • You can not withdraw from the same for at least three years.

Buying government bonds

To apply for Turkish citizenship by this method, you need to buy at least USD 500,000 or equivalent foreign currency or Turkish Lira worth of government bonds.

Steps:

  1. You need to obtain an eligibility certificate by applying to the Ministry of Treasury and Finance.
  2. You need to obtain a Turkish residence permit.
  3. Then you need to apply to the Provincial Directorate of Census and Citizenship.

Limitation:

  • Government bonds can not be sold for at least three years.

Buying real estate investment fund shares or venture capital

The other method to get Turkish citizenship is buying real estate investment fund shares or venture capital. You need to buy at least USD 500 000 or equivalent foreign currency or Turkish Liras worth of real estate investment fund shares or venture capital.

Steps

  1. You need to obtain an eligibility certificate by applying to the Department of the Brokerage Activities of the Capital Markets Board of Turkey.
  2. You need to obtain a Turkish residence permit.
  3. Then you need to apply to the Provincial Directorate of Census and Citizenship.

Limitation:

  • They can not be sold for at least three years.

Turkish citizenship by real estate investment

Steps:

  1. You need to obtain an eligibility certificate by applying to the General Directorate of Land Registry and Cadaster of the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization.
  2. You need to obtain a Turkish residence permit.
  3. Then you need to apply to the Provincial Directorate of Census and Citizenship.

Limitation:

  • Title deed restriction on its resale for at least three years.
